I drove to the amphitheater. Push-to-start AKL is more involved than a standard Fobik job because the WIN module needs to be fully accessed and old key data wiped before new fobs can register. I used my ACDP to pull the immobilizer data as a backup, then ran the AKL sequence through OBD with my IM608. His smart key, FCC ID GQ43VT7T, was a 3-button proximity fob.
His truck started in the venue lot. Total was around 95. The dealer would have been 200 plus a tow. Smart key AKL isn't dealer-only. It's tool-dependent. He was pretty amazed it could all happen right there.
