She landed at the airport after a red-eye, walked to long-term parking, and her 2007 Ford Crown Victoria wouldn't respond to the key fob because the battery in the remote was dead. The car was locked, the emergency blade was inside her luggage in the trunk, and the trunk wouldn't pop without the remote. She was stuck at the airport with bags and no way into her own car.

She drove home that same morning. Total was about 95. Dealer would have been 200 plus $180 in towing and a Thursday appointment. She skipped all of that and was home before lunch.
