I used my VVDI2 to read the transponder data from the broken key head since the chip was still intact inside the cracked housing. That saved time because I didn't need a full all-keys-lost procedure. I extracted the blade, decoded the lock with my HY22 Lishi, and cut two fresh keys. Her fob, FCC ID , was a -button flip key that I rebuilt into a new shell with the salvaged chip.
She went from zero keys to two in about 40 minutes. Total was around 71. A full AKL would cost more, and the dealer wanted 164 either way. If you have the broken pieces, bring them.
