Out in North Ranch, I got a call from a guy who had just come back from a long weekend trip. He put his 2018 Sedona in park, pulled the fob out of his pocket, and the van would not acknowledge it at all. He had already gotten a quote from the dealer. It was a significant number, and they wanted the van brought in, which would have meant arranging a tow since driving it around with no reliable key detection felt like a gamble. He ended up paying a fraction of that, right in his own driveway.
