I checked that both fobs locked and unlocked independently. I ran the start sequence three times. I verified the emergency blade on both fobs could actually be extracted from the housing, because that is the one thing people never test until they need it in a parking lot at midnight.

He said he expected me to hand him the key and drive away. I told him the five extra minutes of testing is the whole point of having someone come to you instead of leaving the car at a dealer.
