I drove to the hotel. I used my ACDP to read the keyless module data as a backup, then ran the AKL sequence through OBD. His fob, FCC ID , was a -button smart key. Two fobs programmed, security wait completed, all buttons and push-to-start tested.
His car started in a hotel parking lot on a Saturday night. Total was around 95. Dealer would have been 200 plus a multi-day wait. Smart key AKL isn't dealer-only. It's tool-dependent.
