Pulled the broken blade from the door lock with my Lishi pick, read the wafer positions right off the cylinder, and cut a fresh Ilco MA24-P key blank on my mobile machine. Because the 2001 MPV runs no transponder and no immobilizer, there was nothing to program. Cut, test, done. I made her two copies so she would not end up in this spot again.
She made her 6am class. Just stood there for a second looking at two fresh keys in her hand like she could not believe it was that simple.
If you still have the broken pieces, bring them. It speeds things up. But even without them I can decode the lock and get you driving.
