Out near Flinn Springs there's a small yoga studio with a modest lot out front. I pulled in mid-morning, and the owner of a 2020 Acura RLX was waiting by the back bumper, arms crossed, keys in hand. Start to finish it was about 25 minutes. I walked every function: door lock, unlock, the hatch, and then held the fob inside the cabin to confirm the push-button start recognized it. She asked if the old key still worked. I tested it. It did. Both keys, both reading clean.
She said the dealer quote felt like punishment for losing a key. I told her that's just the dealer rate. She saved a good chunk coming to me instead, and she didn't have to leave the parking lot.
