I got a call from an alignment shop off Garden Road in Poway. Not the usual call. A customer had already had a locksmith attempt a key replacement on his 2009 Kia RIO, the shop's battery charger dropped voltage mid-programming, and the immobilizer went into a fault state. The first locksmith packed up and left. The alignment shop pulled my number.
