I used my HY22 Lishi to extract the broken fragment without scratching the wafer surfaces. Once extracted, I decoded the lock by reading each wafer position for exact cut depths. His car uses FCC ID SY5HMFNA04 on the remote side. I cut the new blade from the decode and programmed the transponder chip through OBD.
No drilling, no cylinder replacement. His total was $236. The other locksmith's plan would have run $422 or more. Destructive entry should be a last resort.
