A guy in Downtown Oceanside called me on a Saturday afternoon from the parking lot near the harbor. Bass fisherman, had been out early, came back to his 2008 350z and the key was gone. Not in his pocket, not in the tackle bag, not anywhere on the dock. He'd checked twice. The car was sitting there and he had zero keys, no spare at home, nothing.

With no original key, the first step is getting into the car without damaging it. I worked the door lock mechanically, read the wafer positions, and cut a blade to match. That got us in. From there I connected through the OBD port and ran the all-keys-lost sequence through the immobilizer. That process wipes any previously registered keys from the system and enrolls the new key as the primary. The remote head key was cut, programmed, and tested right in that lot. I also cut him a spare on the spot, because losing your only key once tends to change how you think about having a backup.
The 350z started right there, doors locked and unlocked clean, all four buttons on the fob working. He didn't need a tow. He didn't need to wait until Monday. He just drove home.
The dealer comparison came up on the phone before I even arrived. He'd already called them. I'll just say he saved a good chunk going the mobile route, and he didn't lose his whole weekend.
