2021 Ram Promaster
Key Replacement - Save vs Dealer in San Diego

2021 Ram Promaster Remote Replacement - Fast, Affordable & Professional

Out in Flinn Springs, on a Monday afternoon, I got a call from a woman running a home daycare. Her 2021 ProMaster was her whole operation. She used it to pick up supplies, run kids to appointments, and get herself to a second job in the evenings. The fob had been acting up for a few days, and that morning it stopped working entirely. She called the dealer first.

They told her Friday at the earliest. She'd need to arrange a tow because the van would lock itself out of remote start and she wasn't confident driving it in. That was five days and a tow bill just to get to the starting line.

She called me about an hour after hanging up with them.

I drove out to Flinn Springs that same afternoon with my programming equipment and the bypass hardware the ProMaster's security gateway requires. Connected up, pulled up the van's key memory, and went to work registering the new fob and making sure everything synced through the system correctly. Tested all three buttons, tested the door locks from both inside and out, confirmed the van started clean every time.

The whole thing was done before her first afternoon pickup. She saved a good chunk compared to what the dealer quoted, and she didn't lose a single workday.

That's the call I like getting. Not because it's complicated, but because it actually matters to the person on the other end.
