A retired professor near Torrey Pines needed a spare key for his 2022 Volvo Xc60. Getting to the Volvo dealer was a genuine burden. Do I have to go to the Volvo dealer to get a replacement key?▼

No. Many Volvo owners assume only the dealer can program keys. One Reddit user was told flat out that replacement keys have to be programmed by the dealer.
