Your 1999 Chrysler Sebring uses a metal key with buttons on the face, a battery inside powering the remote, and either a FOBIK blade that inserts directly into the ignition module or an emergency key tucked inside the smart fob depending on the year. There's also a transponder chip that communicates with the car's immobilizer every time you start it.
