Got a call from a guy at a mobile home park off Thompson Boulevard district in Ventura. Retired school bus driver, 2010 Chrysler Sebring sedan. He needed a spare key and had already called the dealer. They told him it would be a few days and he would need to leave the car there.

Cut the key on the HPC code machine right there in his driveway, programmed the transponder, then tested the remote head buttons: lock, unlock, trunk, panic. All six button functions responded clean.
The whole thing took about 25 minutes. He picked his book back up and said, "That was shorter than a chapter."
He paid a fraction of what the dealer wanted and never had to leave his property.
