A weekend off-roader at a desert trailhead outside Ventura had a 2004 Chrysler Sebring with push-to-start and zero keys. He was 45 minutes from town on a dirt road with no cell signal until he hiked to a ridge. He'd been told by multiple people that smart key all-keys-lost was dealer-only.

Push-to-start AKL is more involved than a standard FOBIK job because the car's body control module needs to be accessed and the old key data cleared before new fobs can learn. I used my ACDP to pull the immobilizer data as a safety backup, then ran the AKL sequence through the OBD port. His smart key, FCC ID , was a -button proximity fob.
His car started at a desert trailhead with no cell signal, no tow access, and no dealer within an hour. Total was around 95. The dealer route would have been 200 plus a long-distance tow. Smart key AKL isn't dealer-only, it's tool-dependent. He was pretty amazed it could all happen on a dirt road in the desert.
