I drove out with my IM608 and a Ford all-keys-lost bypass cable for the newer gateway system. I used my HU101 Lishi to open and decode the door lock, cut the emergency blade, then connected to OBD with the bypass cable stabilizing power. The body control module erased all old fob data and I placed each new fob in the backup slot as the system registered them. His smart key, FCC ID M3N-A2C31243300, was a 5-button Intelligent Access fob.
His car started at a ski lot. Total was around 324. Dealer would have been 591 plus a long-distance tow. Smart key AKL isn't dealer-only on Lincoln. It's tool-dependent.
