A night janitor called me from a parking garage near Steckel Park in Santa Paula around 10:30 at night. His only key for his 2012 MKX was gone. Not in his pockets, not under the seat, just gone. He was already thinking tow truck.

He stood there watching, calmer once he understood each step had a reason.
He drove home that night. A Lincoln dealer would have been closed, would have needed a tow, and would have charged a good chunk more once you added it all up. The VIN is the single most useful thing you can give me when you call.
