An event planner working a Saturday wedding setup near Torrey Pines found that out firsthand. Then I walked every function: tested the blade in the door and ignition, verified remote lock and unlock on all four buttons, made sure the car started clean and stayed running. On a gravel driveway, under open sky, done.
She got back to setting up for the wedding. The dealer comparison barely came up, but when it did, she just shook her head. She'd already been told by a friend it would take days and cost a lot more. What she needed was the car working that morning, and that's what happened.
