2012 Audi TT Key Replacement - Fast, Affordable & Professional
Downtown Fallbrook on a Saturday afternoon is quiet in a good way. The shops are open, foot traffic is light, and a gallery owner was standing outside her place on Main Avenue looking at her 2012 Audi TT like she was trying to figure out what it owed her.
She had one key left. Had been running on one for about two years. Her spare had gone missing during a move, and she kept telling herself she would deal with it. Then her remaining key started feeling wrong in her hand. The rubber grip had worn down to almost nothing and the key head wobbled a little when she pulled it from the ignition. A friend told her Audi keys were "dealer only" and to budget two or three days without her car.
I got there while she was between showings. The key blank for a 2012 TT is not exotic. I cut a replacement to her vehicle right there, tested it in the door lock and the ignition, and the car fired without hesitation. The whole visit was maybe twenty minutes.
She was genuinely surprised it was that simple. I think she had talked herself into a bigger problem than she actually had. The dealer story had gotten into her head. Getting her a working spare key before the next guest walked through the gallery door was the whole job, and it happened exactly like that.
