I used my HU66 Lishi to decode the ignition lock and diagnose the wear, then cut a fresh blade from the decode and swapped it into a new flip shell with his existing Megamos chip. The HU66 Lishi reads each wafer position inside the lock so I can cut a perfect match. His remote, FCC ID , was a 3-button flip key that I rebuilt and tested.
He did not have to leave the building. Did not have to call anyone for a ride. Total was $95 for a fully working flip key. The dealer quoted $200 plus the problem of getting there.
