2017 Buick Enclave Transponder Key Replacement - Fast, Affordable & Professional
A guy near the CSUSM area in San Marcos called me on a Tuesday morning. He worked a night shift and had gotten home, set his key down somewhere, and by the time he woke up in the afternoon he could not find it anywhere. That was his only key. I cut the new key blade, seated the transponder, and walked through the programming steps. By the time I tested ignition and confirmed a clean start, we were done in his driveway.
He asked if losing the original key meant anything was permanently compromised. It does not. The old key gets wiped from the system during the process, so if it ever turns up it will not start the car.
He saved a good chunk compared to what the dealer wanted, and he did not spend two days without his vehicle.
