Out near Flinn Springs, there's a trailhead most Lakeside locals know. A guy parked his 1998 Windstar there on a Saturday morning and came back to find the fob unresponsive. Doors were locked. He had his mechanical key to get in and start the van, but the remote had fully quit on him, and he had no spare.
