When I opened it up, the antenna board was damaged from moisture. So I swapped the chip to a fresh fob and programmed it on-site. He was pretty impressed it could all happen next to a barrel cave.
His car started on that vineyard gravel. Total was around $202. A dealer would have charged $408 plus a tow from a vineyard no flatbed was reaching easily.
