If any of that happens, we can cut and program a replacement the same day. The chip side of the job on a 2002 Liberty is one of the more durable setups precisely because there's no battery involved.

If you're seeing this with a key that used to work fine, I'd check the vehicle battery voltage first. If that's good, the antenna ring is the next suspect on a vehicle this age. I bought a transponder key blank online. Can you just program it, or do I need to buy the key from you?

Bring it. If the blank you bought has the correct chip type for the 2002 Liberty, I can program it.
