We used the diagnostic port, enrolled the new key into the vehicle's security system, tested both fobs back to back, and verified the emergency blade on the new one worked in the door lock. Start to finish, about 35 minutes.
She said the dealer had quoted her a wait time of several days just to get an appointment. She had that appointment for next Tuesday. She called to cancel it on the way back inside.
