Then I programmed the new fob, verified proximity entry on all the doors, and confirmed the start button brought the engine up.
He watched the whole thing from about ten feet away, which I don't mind. People who watch tend to understand why this costs what it costs. He got a working key, in the same lot his car was stranded in, and did not spend a day arranging a tow.
