1997 Audi S4 Mechanical Key Replacement - Fast, Affordable & Professional
She was at the rental car return lot in The Collection at RiverPark in Oxnard early in the morning, about to switch from a rental back to her own 1997 Audi S4, and her only Audi key was not in her bag. She had left it at the hotel she checked out of an hour ago. The hotel front desk said they searched the room and found nothing. The key was gone. I was there in 35 minutes. Her S4 used an older flip key with the HU66 blade and a Megamos 48 transponder chip inside. I used my Smart Pro to read the immobilizer PIN from the car's ECU through the OBD port, then programmed a fresh flip key with the correct Megamos chip matched to her car's security system. The Smart Pro has guided menus for Audi IMMO3 and IMMO4 systems that walk through the entire security sequence step by step. Her mechanical key with FCC ID was a -button flip key that I cut on my machine, programmed, and tested on-site. Lock, unlock, trunk, engine start.
