She was at the rental car return lot in the Thompson Boulevard district in Ventura, early morning, ready to switch from a rental back to her own 2001 Audi S4. I pulled the immobilizer PIN from the instrument cluster module through the OBD port using my Smart Pro, then cut a fresh 4D0 837 231 P flip key on my Condor and programmed the ID48 transponder to match her car's security data. After that, paired the remote side: lock, unlock, trunk, panic. Tested every button and ran two cold starts.
She returned the rental, started her own car, and drove to the airport with time left over. The dealer would have meant a missed flight, rental extension fees, and still no key until the following week.
