She was at The Collection at RiverPark in Oxnard, early morning, trying to switch from a rental back to her own 1997 Audi S4. One problem. The only Audi key she had was gone. I got there in about 35 minutes. Her S4 is a C4 chassis, which runs the IMMO2 system with a Megamos ID13 transponder. No buttons, no remote, just a mechanical HU66 blade with a glass chip in the key head. I pulled the immobilizer login through the OBD-II port using my programmer, extracted the SKC from the immobilizer module, and wrote a fresh ID13 chip matched to her car's security data. Cut the HU66 blade on my mobile machine, tested the doors, the trunk, and fired the engine.
She returned the rental, started her own car, and made her flight with time to spare.
The dealer would have had her waiting days just to get the appointment, plus rental extension fees, plus the flight change. She drove away same morning, one visit, done in the parking lot.
