My van carries everything I need to replace a 2005 Audi S4 key without a shop. Flip key blanks for the older HU66 cars, smart fob housings for the KESSY and comfort access models, Megamos transponder chips, CR2032 batteries, emergency blades, and a key cutting machine bolted to the floor. An architect in a high-rise parking garage in Ventura, Mission San Buenaventura area called me because a tow truck could not navigate the tight turns and low clearance on the lower levels. Her fob, FCC ID MYT8Z0837231, was a 4-button smart key with comfort access that I built and tested right there in the garage.
Her car never moved. Total was 309 compared to 559 at the dealer, and that dealer price assumed the car could even get to them.
