Push-to-start all-keys-lost is the job that scares most Ford owners the most. No physical key slot, no way to "just turn the ignition." I used my ACDP to pull the immobilizer data as a safety backup, then ran the AKL sequence through the OBD port. His smart key, FCC ID M3N-5WY8609, was a 5-button proximity fob.
His car started at a campground with no cell service and no dealer within an hour. Total was around 95. The dealer route would have been 200 plus a long-distance tow. Smart key AKL isn't dealer-only, it's tool-dependent. He was pretty amazed it could all happen at a campground in the middle of nowhere.
