So I used my HON66 Lishi to pick his door open and decoded every wafer position. Then I cut a fresh blade to match. From there I plugged into OBD and ran the all-keys-lost sequence to wipe the old key from the immobilizer and register the new one as primary. His transponder key, FCC ID , started the car on the first try. I cut him a spare too so he wouldn't be in this situation again.
The whole job took about 45 minutes and came out to around 95. Dealer would have been roughly 200 plus a tow plus waiting until Monday. He drove home from that same lot with two working keys.
