An overnight security guard out in Hollywood Beach called me around 10:30 at night. His only smart key for the 2015 Fit had stopped working that afternoon, and the car was sitting in his townhouse garage doing nothing. Push-button start, no recognized fob, dead in the water.

I cut the emergency HA166 blade inside the fob housing, tested proximity unlock on both front doors, hit the start button, confirmed the remote lock and unlock, and double-checked that the panic button fired the horn.
Whole thing took about 35 minutes in his garage. He stood there watching, quiet, like he was waiting for a catch. When the engine turned over on push-button start, he just shook his head slowly. No tow, no waiting for a dealer slot, no second trip to pick up the car. Done that night, for a fraction of what the dealer path would have run him.
