A food truck owner working the farmers market near Eden Gardens in Solana Beach had one key left for his 1997 Acura NSX. Not a spare, not a backup, just the one. Cut a new blade to that code on my portable cutter, checked it against the original, and handed it to him.
He tested it in the door, then the ignition. Smooth both ways. The worn original actually felt looser by comparison once he had the fresh cut in his hand.
