I was over in the Fernbrook area of Ramona on a Thursday afternoon when a call came in about a 2007 Audi S4. She had a patient scheduled the next morning at eight. The dealer, when she called them that morning, said they could book her in three days out if she needed a new key programmed. That quote sat in her head all day while the fob kept getting flakier.
The whole thing took about forty minutes in the school lot. She left with a working fob and a spare on order, which we handled a few days later at her place in Fernbrook.
