2009 Audi S4 Remote Flip Key Replacement - Fast, Affordable & Professional
A software engineer working out of an office in Otay Mesa West watched his S4 key disappear into a storm drain. Not dropped in a puddle, not left on a desk. Gone. Into the drain, in the parking lot, during the middle of a product launch week.
He had standups at 9am and a live demo at 3pm. He could not leave the car, could not schedule a tow during business hours, and could not sit in a dealer waiting room for half a day even if he wanted to. He found me through a search and called before lunch.
I drove to his office lot and got to work. The 2009 S4 flip key is a 3-button remote with the transponder built into the key head. The programming goes through the OBD port using professional-grade diagnostic equipment that talks directly to the immobilizer. I ran the full procedure, enrolled the new key, and tested every button before handing it over. The whole job was done in the lot while he stepped outside for maybe twenty minutes.
He made his afternoon demo. His car never left its parking spot. The dealer would have needed him to tow the car in, schedule days out, and wait on parts. That route was not an option for him, and honestly it should not have to be.
