A fitness instructor working near the Brown Field Area in Otay Mesa found out the hard way one early morning. She had her 2015 Audi S4, one key, and a schedule. I transferred the working electronics into a new flip shell, cut a fresh replacement blade to the vehicle, and used my diagnostic equipment to verify the immobilizer recognized the key and the remote functions were syncing correctly. Then I programmed a second key from scratch so she'd have a spare for the first time since she bought the car.

She went from zero keys and a blade stuck in her door lock to two fully working keys in about 45 minutes.

The dealer conversation never came up. She just needed it done, and it was done.
