If the CR2032 wasn't seated flush, if the contact clips inside the fob got slightly bent during the swap, or if the fob case wasn't fully snapped closed, the system can still throw a key-not-detected warning even with a brand new cell in there.

Second thing to check: interference. The 2020 XT6 uses a passive entry system that can get confused near certain wireless charging pads, some aftermarket phone mounts, and even a few key fob signal blockers people put in their own bags thinking they're protecting RFID cards. Try the fob away from any of those and see if the warning clears.

If the warning persists with a confirmed good battery and no interference sources, that points to something deeper: fob communication, antenna wiring, or the vehicle security system itself.
