I got a call from a woman in Rancho Santa Fe, over at The Bridges, on a Saturday afternoon. She was coordinating an event, her 2013 Quest was blocking a loading area in the parking lot, and her Intelligent Key had stopped being recognized by the vehicle. It came back. Touch unlock on both front handles, liftgate release, start button responding normally. I walked the whole vehicle before I called it done.
She moved the Quest out of the loading zone with an hour to spare. The dealer had already told her it would be two to three days for an appointment and she'd need a tow since the car "wouldn't start." She saved a good chunk just by having someone come to her.
