It was a July afternoon in Otay Mesa, over in the Ocean View Hills area, and a guy had just finished his grocery run. I replaced the fob, registered it through the diagnostic tool, and ran through everything: door lock, unlock, the start function, the whole range.
From his phone call to engine running was 38 minutes. The dealer was quoting a next-day appointment and a price he said made him wince. Groceries made it home fine.
