The call came in from Bressi Ranch, over near the newer office park off Palomar Airport Road. An office manager at a plastic surgery practice had texted me the VIN before I even left my previous job. Then I tested every function: doors, ignition start, remote lock and unlock.
Start to finish, including the walk-through and testing, was under thirty minutes. The office manager barely had time to finish her coffee.
I handed over a fully working spare with documentation on file. If anything ever needs re-syncing down the road, I have the records. No hunting around, no guessing.
