A shop in Spring Valley, over in the Bancroft area, called me on a Tuesday afternoon. An independent Porsche specialist had a 2010 911 on the lift mid-suspension job. The owner had dropped off one key. Somewhere between the intake check and pulling the rear wheels, that key walked off. Best guess was it got swept into the drain with a shop rag. Nobody saw it go.

The tech gave it one test drive around the block. Locked it, unlocked it, confirmed every button function. Happy. Went back to finishing the job.
