I got a call from a portfolio manager at his investment firm garage in Spring Valley. He was in meetings from 8 to 6 and his 2010 Porsche 911 smart key had cracked at the nose that morning when he dropped it getting out of the car. He walked back to his afternoon meeting with a working key and paid $443. Dealer wanted $791 plus a tow. His car never left the garage.
