I extracted the broken blade, decoded the lock, and cut two fresh keys. Her flip key, FCC ID NBG010180T, was a 4-button remote that I rebuilt into new shells with the cloned chip. I showed her the chip from the cracked key so she could see it was still good.
She went from zero keys to two in about 40 minutes. Total was around $189. Dealer wanted $392 either way. If you have the pieces, bring them. The chip data is usually still good.
