I used my ACDP to pull the immobilizer data as a backup, then ran the AKL sequence through OBD with my IM608. His smart key, FCC ID KOBDT04A, was a 4-button proximity fob.
His truck started in the venue lot. Total was around 185. The dealer would have been 395 plus a tow. Smart key AKL isn't dealer-only. It's tool-dependent. He was pretty amazed it could all happen right there.
