No key at all? I get these calls all the time. Most Honda owners only ever had one key to begin with, so when it's gone, it's gone. I build a new one from scratch right at the car. No original needed.

A customer was fishing out near Calle Real corridor and he lost his only key somewhere between the dock and the bait shop. He searched for an hour, asked every vendor, and came up with nothing. His 2012 Honda Pilot was just sitting in the lot and he figured it was stuck there until the dealer could see it Monday. I told him I could be there that afternoon and have him driving home the same day.

So I used my HON66 Lishi to pick his door open and decoded every wafer position. Then I cut a fresh blade to match. From there I plugged into OBD and ran the all-keys-lost sequence to wipe the old key from the immobilizer and register the new one as primary. His remote head key, FCC ID KR55WK49308, started the car on the first try. I cut him a spare too so he wouldn't be in this situation again.

The whole job took about 45 minutes and came out to around 185. Dealer would have been roughly 395 plus a tow plus waiting until Monday. He drove home from that same lot with two working keys.
