There's a retired guy near Camino Real Marketplace who drives a 2017 Pilot and had been operating on a single fob since he bought the thing. No spare. He called me because he wanted one before something went wrong, not after.

The whole thing took about 35 minutes at his car. He said the dealer quote alone had made him assume this was some kind of specialized operation only they could do. It isn't. The tools exist, the training exists, and I bring both to Goleta.
He kept the dealer's number in his phone anyway. Old habit.
