The old lost key gets wiped from memory, and the new CWTWB1U545 remote head key gets registered as primary.
Started on the first turn. All three buttons responded clean. I cut him a spare on the spot so he'd never be one-key-deep again.
The whole thing took about 45 minutes. He drove home from that same parking area the same day, two working keys in hand. The dealer would have meant a tow, a wait, and way more money for the same result.
