Push-to-start all-keys-lost on a 1996 Buick Regal is the job that worries Buick owners the most. No key slot, no ignition cylinder to turn. The car needs to wirelessly detect a smart fob registered to its BCM before it will even wake up. If that fob is gone, the car is sitting there doing nothing, and most locksmiths won't attempt it.

I used my ACDP to pull the immobilizer data as a safety backup, then ran the AKL sequence through OBD with my IM608. His smart fob, FCC ID , was a 3-button proximity key. The BCM accepted the new fob after the timed security countdown completed.
