Got a call from a woman out in Fernbrook on a Wednesday afternoon. She had a 2014 Ford Flex, one fob, and that fob had gone through a full wash cycle. She found it at the bottom of the drum when she moved the load to the dryer.

I told her to set the washed fob aside for a few days and see if the board dried out. It might work again, it might not, but either way she wasn't stranded anymore. She made pickup on time. The dealer route would have cost her two days and a tow she didn't have lined up.
